1. Who we are
Shibho Technologies Private Limited (“Shibho Technologies”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a software company based in Hyderabad, India. We build software products and provide custom software development, web applications, SaaS product development, AI and automation, integrations and related technology services for businesses.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you visit our website shibho.com, contact us, or use our product FitCircle (joinfitcircle.com). For personal data covered by this policy, Shibho Technologies is the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).
By using our website or FitCircle, or by giving us your information, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiry details submitted through our contact form: your name, business email, phone number (optional), company name (optional), enquiry type, the service you are interested in, project timeline, estimated budget and your message.
- Information you share when you email or call us, or during discussions about a project.
- For FitCircle: your mobile number and the account and profile details you choose to provide when you sign up or use the platform.
Information collected automatically
- Technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you visit, which our hosting and security systems record as standard server logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: strictly necessary cookies that the website needs to work and to remember your cookie choice, and, only if you agree, analytics cookies set by Google Analytics. See section 5.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as financial account details, passwords for other services or health records through this website. Please do not include such information in enquiry messages.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, understand your requirements and discuss a potential project or partnership.
- To provide, operate and improve our services and FitCircle.
- To verify your mobile number and secure your FitCircle account using one-time passwords (OTPs).
- To send you service communications you would reasonably expect, such as replies to your enquiry, account alerts and important updates.
- To keep our website, systems and users safe, and to detect and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form, sign up or otherwise provide your information, and for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as complying with law. You may withdraw consent at any time (see section 10). Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
4. SMS and OTP messages (FitCircle)
When you sign up for or log in to FitCircle, we send a one-time password (OTP) by SMS to verify your mobile number.
- OTP and service messages are sent through licensed telecom service providers using sender IDs (headers) and message templates registered on the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) platform, as required by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) under the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018.
- Your mobile number is shared with the SMS delivery provider only to deliver these messages.
- OTPs are used only to verify your identity. We will never ask you to share an OTP by phone, email or chat, so please do not share it with anyone.
- We do not send promotional SMS without your consent.
5. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use two kinds:
- Strictly necessary cookies keep the website working and remember your cookie choice. They cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies (optional) are set by Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, only if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. They help us understand how many people visit, which pages they view and how they found us, so we can improve the website. Google Analytics receives information such as pages visited, approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and advertising features are switched off.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies. If we add other tools, such as chat or marketing services, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
6. Sharing and service providers
We share personal data only where needed for the purposes in this policy:
- Service providers who help us run our website and products, such as hosting and cloud infrastructure, email delivery, SMS/OTP delivery and, if you consent, website analytics (Google Analytics). They act on our instructions, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Legal and regulatory authorities, where we are required to by law, court order or a lawful request from a government authority, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- A successor business, if Shibho Technologies is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data.
Some service providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected, and we comply with any restrictions on transfers notified by the Government of India under the DPDP Act.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and then delete or anonymise it, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Enquiry details are kept while we respond to you and for any related follow-up. If you become a client, records are kept for the duration of our relationship and as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
- FitCircle account data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to erase your data, we will delete it unless we must retain it to comply with law.
- Server and security logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
- Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, after which Google deletes it automatically.
8. Security
We use reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls limited to people who need the data, and secure, maintained infrastructure.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will act promptly to contain it and will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDP Act and its rules.
9. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children (individuals under 18) without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act and other applicable law, you have the right to:
- Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to erase your personal data where it is no longer needed or you withdraw consent, unless we must keep it by law.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Have your grievances addressed, as set out in section 11.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@shibho.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

We will acknowledge your grievance and aim to resolve it as quickly as possible, within the period required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If we make significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you, for example through a notice on our website or in FitCircle.
